FAQ

Is competitor monitoring legal?

We only check publicly available pages, at low frequency, and we respect robots.txt and site terms. We don't log in, bypass paywalls or collect personal data.

Do I need to install anything?

No. You send us the pages to watch and reports arrive by email.

How often are pages checked?

Daily on all plans, twice daily on Pro.

Which countries and currencies do you support?

We're US-first, but PriceSentinel works with public websites in any country and reports prices in the currency shown on the page.

When does it launch?

We're onboarding early-access customers in small batches. Join the waitlist and we'll be in touch.

Can PriceSentinel monitor component parts for purchasing teams?

Yes. We can track publicly visible prices, stock, lead times, MOQs and EOL notices on public distributor pages, for example Digi-Key, Mouser, RS, Farnell, Grainger or McMaster-Carr. Login-only, contract and quote-only prices can't be monitored, and we follow each site's terms.
